My Chores for English Unit 3
Cleaning the House
Every Saturday morning, I clean the house.
I begin by picking up clutter and putting things away.
Next, I dust all the surfaces and sweep the floors.
Then, I clean the bathrooms.
Finally, I vacuum the carpets and mop the hard floors.
After every meal, I wash the dishes.
First, I scrape the excess food into the trash.
Then, I fill up the sink with hot, soapy water.
Next, I wash the dishes, glasses, and silverware.
Finally, I rinse everything and let it dry.
Every Wednesday, I do the laundry.
First, I sort the clothes into darks, lights, and whites.
Then, I start a load in the washing machine.
Next, I transfer everything into the dryer and add a dryer sheet.
Finally, I fold everything and put it away.
Overall, keeping the house clean and tidy is a lot of work, but it’s important for a happy and healthy household.
