My Busy Weekend

Last weekend was very busy for me. On Saturday, I had a soccer game in the morning. In the afternoon, I went to my friend’s birthday party. We played games and had lots of delicious food. On Sunday, I had a piano lesson in the morning. In the afternoon, I went to the bookstore and bought some books. In the evening, I did my homework and watched a movie. I had a great weekend, but I was also very tired!

Unit 2 My School Day

A Typical School Day

I have a typical school day from Monday to Friday. My classes start at 8:30 in the morning. First, I have Chinese class, then math class, and then English class. After that, I have a short break for 20 minutes. Then I have science class, history class, and finally, physical education class. My school day finishes at 3:30 in the afternoon. I like school, but sometimes I find it tiring.

My Dream Home

My dream home is a big house with a garden and a swimming pool. There are six bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen is big and modern, and there is a dining room with a big table and comfortable chairs. The living room has a big sofa and a TV. Upstairs, there is a playroom with lots of toys and games. Outside, there is a big garden with lots of flowers and trees. There is also a swimming pool where I can swim every day. I hope my dream home will come true someday.

Unit 4 My Family

My Family Tree

My family is quite big. There are my parents, my grandparents, and my two brothers and two sisters. My dad is a businessman, and my mom is a teacher. My grandparents are retired, so they like to travel a lot. My older brother is studying in college, and my older sister just got a job at a company. My younger brother and sister are still in primary school. I love my family, and we always have fun together.

Unit 5 My Hobbies

My Favorite Hobby

My favorite hobby is reading. I love to read all kinds of books, from adventure to mystery to romance. I usually read before I go to bed, and sometimes I spend the whole day reading on weekends. Reading helps me relax and learn new things. I also like to write my own stories, and I hope to publish a book someday. Reading will always be my favorite hobby.
