My Experience of Learning English
Starting from Scratch
When I first started learning English, I knew absolutely nothing about it. I struggled to remember simple words and grammar rules, and I couldn’t understand anything when others spoke English. It was a really frustrating experience, but I refused to give up.
Slowly But Surely
I began to take classes and study every day. It wasn’t easy, but I started to see improvement. I could understand basic conversations and could express myself in simple phrases. As time went on, my confidence grew, and I started to enjoy learning English.
Pushing Myself Out of My Comfort Zone
To improve my speaking skills, I found a language exchange partner and started practicing with them regularly. It was difficult at first as I was nervous and made a lot of mistakes, but my partner was patient and encouraging. I also started watching English movies and videos without subtitles to challenge myself.
Now, I am proud to say that I can confidently communicate in English, both orally and in writing. I still have a long way to go, but I’ve come a long way from when I first started. Learning English has not only helped me to communicate with people from all over the world, but it has also opened up new opportunities for me in terms of work and travel.
